Rules of the contest "Shapagat - 2021"
From April 26 to August 26 this year, online applications for participation in the competition of inventors "Shapagat - 2021"
PURPOSE OF THE CONTEST:
Enhancing the role of intellectual property; Propaganda of inventive activity
TASKS OF THE CONTEST:
Raising public awareness of inventive activities
APPLICATION DEADLINE (video):
From April 26 to August 26, 2021
Voting among users of the Internet resource shall be held from September 1 to October 10 2021 year inclusive (23: 59, time of Nur Sultan).
The votes shall be counted by confirming the code sent to the unique mobile phone number. At the end of voting the results of the contest shall be summed up.
PARTICIPANTS OF THE CONTEST
Right holders of valid patents for inventions, utility models, industrial designs, issued in 2019, in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Step 1 -shoot a video for up to 3 minutes about your invention (utility model, industrial design) without revealing its essence;
Step 2 -upload the video to the YouTube portal and provide a link to the video when submitting an online application on the site;
Note: in case of problems with the placement of the video on YouTube, NIIP or to the email address firstname.lastname@example.org with a note for "Shapagat" contest.
Step 3 –submit an online application https://shapagat.kazpatent.kz/en/content/zayavka-na-respublikanskiy-onlayn-konkurs-izobretateley by signing a preliminary special agreement on the non-disclosure of confidential information and on the responsibility of the patent owner (author) for the information posted in the video.
Recommendations for the video: the video can contain information about the novelty and relevance of the invention; Social importance; Recoupment; Profitability; Target audience; Number of created workplaces, etc.

Finalists who received the largest number of votes of Internet users will be awarded with diplomas and statuettes "Shapagat".
