RSE "National Institute of Intellectual Property" and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan announce the holding of the Republican contest in the field of invention "Shapaghat".
The main purpose of this event is to support the inventive activity of Kazakhstani scientists and outstanding achievements of domestic enterprises.
Within the framework of the contest "Shapaghat" it is envisaged to award the honourable title "Honoured Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan" to the authors of the most significant and widely used inventions. Participation in the competition is open to patentees who have valid patents for inventions issued in 2022.
The winners will be selected by the Competition Commission, which will include representatives of government agencies, scientific organisations, the business sector, innovation development institutions and public organisations. The evaluation will be based on a number of criteria, including social significance, economic impact, environmental safety, competitiveness and successful introduction of technologies into production and commercialisation.
The winners of the competition will be awarded diplomas, statuettes and money certificates from 500 thousand to 1 million tenge.
Applications and petitions for participation in the Republican contest "Shapaghat" and for awarding the honorary title "Honoured Inventor of the Republic of Kazakhstan" are accepted from 1 September to 16 October 2024 by e-mail to shapagat@kazpatent.kz.
