Dear colleagues and participants,

The results of the republican competition among schoolchildren for the best essay «The role of intellectual property in the era of artificial intelligence development», 2024 

The purpose of the competition is to stimulate creative activity among schoolchildren, to popularize and disseminate knowledge in the field of intellectual property, and to inculcate the foundations of patent culture in the younger generation.

The contest was attended by schoolchildren in the age category of 8-11 grades. The contest received over 200 essays in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. The commission selected the best essays.

The winners of the competition are determined based on the following criteria of the quality of the competition works:

- Correspondence to the subject of the competition;

- originality of material presentation;

- originality of the author’s position;

- depth of the selected topic.

In the course of the inspection of the work, the commission spent a lot of time identifying plagiarism. As a result of careful inspection, the prize places were taken by:

1st place – a pupil of the 11th "N" grade of Nazarbayev Intellectual School of chemical and biological direction of the city of Kyzylorda Musabayeva Aknur;

2nd place – a pupil of the 10th grade of KSU "Urban multidisciplinary Kazakh gymnasium school" of the Department of Education of the Ayagoz district of the Department of Education of the region Abai Makpal Zhumabayeva;

3rd place – a pupil of the 8th grade of the gymnasium No. 1 in Kokshetau, Nargiz Urazalina.

The organizers of the competition are sure that thanks to the high professionalism and creative work of teacher’s schoolchildren showed their creative abilities, and development of skills to structure and articulate thoughts correctly.

Congratulations to the winners, as well as the teachers who have prepared the children with dignity!

Winners will be rewarded with diplomas and memorable prizes.
